Beirut-born Gaelle Khouri creates fine jewelry that verbalizes the intangible essence of introspection, articulating philosophical thought in the intricate forms and movement within her jewelry.
Gaelle’s collections are explorations and iterations of the constant internal dialogue that determines the complexities of human experience. She further expands on the subject by studying the physical and abstract qualities of nature, exploring the formations and function of space within and around her sculptured pieces, delineating how jewelry interacts with the wearer’s anatomy.
Gaelle initially worked as an economic consultant in New York before drastically changing her career path to design. Interning for Oscar de la Renta in New York and Elie Saab in Beirut imparted a confidence and wisdom that helped solidify her artistic potential into personal aesthetics, thus, deciding to formally study fine jewelry design in 2010, eventually establishing her brand in 2015.
