Japanese jewelry designer Hirotaka draws inspiration from the geometric and experiential elements of nature, translating them into conceptual abstract expressions of clean, modern fine jewelry.
Motivated to understand, mimic, and become a part of the asymmetric density and biodiversity of nature, Hirotaka extracts the core element of his studies and reiterates them into quiet minimalistic pieces that ultimately create an endless array of striking landscapes when stacked together, accentuating the wearer’s personality and daily style without overwhelming it.
Hirotaka studied Political Science at the University of California and worked for a few years in the HR department of an IT company before deciding to relocate to Paris to learn the art of classic jewelry making, eventually relocating to Tokyo for his first design position with one of Tokyo’s largest jewelry wholesalers.
After a successful trunk show in Soho New York, Hirotaka finally launched his own brand in 2009.
